xPort® is our own product and fully operational. This port management information system  has unique  features, while we  take away the care or worries to install and maintain such system.  

Experion works with well reputed partners for RFID devices and CCTV cameras . xPort® activates boom barriers and turnstiles as a part of the access management solution, while  AIS provides traffic information over navigable waterways, port basins and approach channels.  A part of the roadmap is to include  VDES (VHF Data Exchange System).

Hinterland connectivity  is an essential factor for a port to add extra value. Especially multi modal connectivity would lead to new opportunities like for example  introduction of  the extended  gate principle. But at the same time traffic jams  can bring a port to a standstill and lead to huge  increase of logistics costs. Here digital technology is the common denominator to drive change and  to introduce advanced traffic management and transport planning solutions.  Big data analysis sits at the back-end in managing traffic through port areas.

 Shuttle (road-)trains, truck platooning, autonomous sailing barges and feeders, they bring the world of tomorrow sooner than you think. Transportation  and Logistics will be serviced digitally and efficiently, reducing carbon emissions. Seaports, which will embrace digital technologies, are more viable against those that are not.
